During the past 20 years Chris has helped shape the communications strategy of many of the world’s leading drinks brands. Early experience saw him running the London Wine Fair and managing the marketing and associated events of drinks and travel-retail magazines worldwide. After a stint as Publisher of Wine Magazine, he joined Virgin Wines as Marketing & PR Director in 2000. At CUBE, Chris acts as a strategic bolt-on to the marketing and management teams of leading wine, beer and spirits brands, retailers and generic organisations.
A natural problem solver and strategist, James’ professional background has always been in marketing and events planning. After a successful spell with the English Tourist Board, James went on to run the Events at Wilmington Publishing, owners of WINE magazine, where his name became synonymous with the International Wine Challenge, the world's largest wine competition. He has an impressive list of contacts throughout the wine trade, including relationships with key support services enabling us to find the right solution to any problem on any scale.
Sarah brought her wine knowledge and enthusiasm for organising events to CUBE in 2003 and managing a team ready to take on any event challenge given to them. Sarah and her team have created a City Vineyard in London and Dublin, taken a double decker bus on tours around the UK with both Wines of South Africa and Casillero del Diablo, sampled Tesco wines to over 100,000 customers at the Tesco Wine Fairs and run numerous press tastings for key journalists and members of the trade.
With over 10 years experience in public relations, Cathy’s early career focused on food and lifestyle PR, scouting models for the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year, developing the Oyster Opening Championships for Tabasco and working in with Raymond Blanc to raise the profile of Maille Mustard. Since entering the world of drinks in 2007, Cathy has overseen both consumer and trade focused campaigns for some of the industry’s leading lights including Wolf Blass, Penfolds, Gallo, Tesco, Casillero del Diablo, VB Lager and Mount Gay Rum.
With former clients ranging from start-ups like graze.com and Sipsmith to well-known brands and events such as Booths, Riverford, Leiths, the BBC Good Food Show and Vive La France, and a four year stint managing the press office of innocent drinks, Claire brings a wealth of experience to the CUBE PR team. She thrives on creating on-brand campaigns that really make a difference. Her clear strategic thinking, strong understanding of what makes brands tick and impressive little black book of press contacts ensure that strong, impactful results are achieved.
