Wines of Portugal Annual Tasting
Having just started working with Wines of Portugal, we had to approach this tasting from scratch. With the emphasis very much on quality rather than quantity, we quickly compiled new, bespoke lists of influencers within the on- and off-trades to add to our existing intelligence. Our efforts paid off and the audience was rich with sommeliers and independent wine merchants – exactly the target audience. MWs and wine buyers mixed with journalists and producers – the perfect melting pot for doing business and driving interest and excitement.
The diversity and food-friendliness of Portuguese wines was highlighted through our partnership with Peter Richards MW through a What Food ,What Wine? feature area, and the venue was flooded with images of the bold new graphic identity of this wonderful wine nation.
