Who’s the papa? An exciting new food and wine tasting concept on Tuesday 29th September. Get involved!

Today's the day we make our lastest drink and digital media project come to life. It’s an absolute corker and we want you to get involved – so put a fine line through your diary between 12.50-1.20pm and then from 7-8pm. Winemaker for Casillero del Diablo, Marcelo Papa, is over from Chile and we’re holding a live web/twitter tasting with him – but with a twist. Together with wine bloggers Rob McIntosh (@thirstforwine) and Louis Villard (@spiltwine), and food bloggers Signe Johansen (@scandilicious) and Linda Williams (@goodshoeday), we will be conducting and broadcasting a two-stage wine and food matching cook-off, with input from all our twitter friends to shape the dishes to go with each wine. That means people just like you. The whole extravaganza will take us from a radio studio (with the ever effervescent Joe Wadsack) to London’s markets and delis, and finally to the excellent Kitchen at Parsons Green (http://www.visitthekitchen.com, @thekitchentl ) where Michelin-starred chef Thierry Laborde will help our brave volunteers craft dishes to perfectly match three of the Casillero del Diablo wines – Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz Rosé. To follow this experiment, either follow #casillero on twitter or check out http://casillero.posterous.com where all media will be pulled together - very clever stuff. Join us, and be part of this ground-breaking experiment.
